Additional Information
Patients will need to book a 10-night stay in a hotel after the surgery, which is not included in the lap band costs. These extra nights are needed before the surgeon can releases you for post-surgery travel. Many area hotels work with the Angeles Health Network to provide discounted rates for traveling medical patients.
If you want to stay in the hospital, free of charge, the night before your surgery, you can if you arrive after 6:00pm. After you check into your hotel, however, you must stay on the hotel premises.
